Push notification spam

I liked this app and the service until they started using push notifications as an advertising channel.

Heres my old 5 star review from before they started that nonsense:

Ive used Gone twice now and it works great. They pick up your used stuff and they give you money for it. Theres a delay in between but they are getting better at it, and I imagine their new Amazon Gift Card support will speed that along a lot if you use Amazon.

Summary: great app, great service.
